Everything IS Awesome! Everything is cool when you work late, but already have dinner ready when you get home. This simple slow cooker recipe is quick, easy, and packed full of vegetables. It’s the best dump and go recipe you could ask for.

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs boneless chicken breasts

  • 24 oz. salsa (hot, mild, whatever you like)

  • Garlic salt

  • Taco seasoning

  • Taco shells

  • Optional Toppings, like cheese, corn, jalapenos, lettuce, sour cream, or guacamole

Directions

  • In base of slow cooker, add chicken breasts.
  • Season chicken with garlic salt and taco seasonings.
  • Top with salsa.
  • Cook on low heat for 5 hours.
  • When done, shred the chicken with two forks.
  • Add chicken to taco shells, and add desired toppings. Bon appetite!

Notes

  • This is a simple dump and go recipe. Changing the salsa can dramatically change the flavor. Try peach salsa, mango salsa, black bean salsa – or whatever you like!
