Toasted S’More Yays!

You’ve had that campfire treat. But have you made one out of the Girl Scouts’ top selling Toast Yay cookie?? No more will the graham cracker crumble as you stick on your toasted marshmallow. The Toast Yay has a sweet cinnamon flavor but has a better crunch than a graham cracker. Try it for your next campout. Or just make it in your kitchen when you get the craving for marshmallow, chocolate, and cinnamon! But don’t forget to buy your Toast Yays before the end of Girl Scout cookie selling season (ending in New Jersey on March 3, 2024).

Ingredients

  • 2 Toast Yay cookies (made by the Girl Scouts)

  • 1 Marshmallow

  • 4 squares of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate

Directions

  • Place the Toast Yays with the Girl Scout emblem face down on a plate next to each other.
  • To one side, add the 4 squares of chocolate.
  • On a fork or stick, toast your marshmallow. (See note for indoor S’more making without a gas range).
  • Place the toasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  • Add the other cookie emblem side up on top of the marshmallow to assemble the S’more.
  • Enjoy the ooey gooey goodness with the cookie crunch!

Notes

  • If you do not have a gas range or open flame, you can “toast” your marshmallow by microwaving for 15-25 seconds (depending on the wattage of your microwave). Just add to a microwave-safe plate.
