Armpit Pudding

Yes, you read that right. Armpit Pudding. This was a fun project for the Girl Scouts, and is a tasty treat. Try it with your kids – it’s a great way to have them get out some extra energy on a day when we were snowed in. We found two different recipes, and tried them both. We were testing the recipe to be prepared for the upcoming Girl Scout meeting where all the girls will do it. We found more cream cheese and cocoa made a better pudding. After I found this recipe, I learned, who needs a box of J-E-L-L-O and a cup of milk to have instant pudding!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar

  • 2 TBS cream cheese

  • 2 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder (like Hershey’s)

  • 1 TBS butter

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients in a ziplock quart-sized baggie.
  • Seal well being sure to remove as much air as possible.
  • (Shake. Shake. Shake.) Knead the bag to combine the ingredients. You can use your armpit, your knee, or just knead on the table.
  • In about ten minutes (or possibly longer if you are a six year-old, don’t ask me how I know that), you will have pudding! Enjoy straight from the bag or put in a bowl.

Notes

  • We experimented with using only 1 TBS of cream cheese and 1 TBS of cocoa. Doing so resulted in a more fudge-like consistency.
