Creamy Cranberry-Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip with a Zip

8 oz. light cream cheese
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/2 jalapeño (with seeds for those who love spice; seeds removed for those who don’t)
2 TBS granulated sugar
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
Handful of chopped cilantro
1/8 tsp kosher salt
Directions
- Remove the cream cheese from the refrigerator to bring to room temperature.
- In food processor, add lemon zest, lemon juice, cranberries, jalapeño, sugar, and salt.
- Pulse the ingredients.
- Chop the cilantro. Combine the cilantro and cranberry mixture in a bowl.
- Add the cream cheese to the bowl. Stir all of the ingredients together.
- Add to refrigerator to cool until ready to serve.
Notes
- If you are feeling lazy, you can use an immersion blender instead of the food processor as long as you chop the items before.
