Ingredients

  • 8 oz. light cream cheese

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

  • 1/2 jalapeño (with seeds for those who love spice; seeds removed for those who don’t)

  • 2 TBS granulated sugar

  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon

  • Handful of chopped cilantro

  • 1/8 tsp kosher salt

Directions

  • Remove the cream cheese from the refrigerator to bring to room temperature.
  • In food processor, add lemon zest, lemon juice, cranberries, jalapeño, sugar, and salt.
  • Pulse the ingredients.
  • Chop the cilantro. Combine the cilantro and cranberry mixture in a bowl.
  • Add the cream cheese to the bowl. Stir all of the ingredients together.
  • Add to refrigerator to cool until ready to serve.

Notes

  • If you are feeling lazy, you can use an immersion blender instead of the food processor as long as you chop the items before.
